I rarely share interior images that I collect on the internet. But, recently I've been obsessed with architectural interior spaces which could be the blueprint for my future house one day. No clutters, clean and minimal lines, but with mild and soft earthy taupe toned color scheme it would be not so cold. Beautiful raw materials, also some warm design accents such as craft-made metal knobs, linen sofa & armchairs, natural soft furnishings, and arch-shaped features. The important thing is it's all timeless!! And, the interesting thing that I found is Belgian architects designed most of my inspiration spaces! So, I just started considering a trip to Antwerp!
I love my current apartment, and I try to make it filled with my family's personality and lots of warm touches. However, since we have lived in a rented apartment, it is limited to infuse our full taste. I've focused more on furniture, interior lamps, and accessories. However, as an interior designer, I always have a desire for space that has beautiful structures, details, and bespoke designs. So, here I want to bring all data together from scattered sources for my and your inspiration as well!
Living room & Lounge
If I have a big window facing to greeneries, I can not be happier with them. Also, the arch-shaped window brings more feminine and elegant atmosphere to space.
Furniture made with natural material such as linen, and rustic wood gives coziness in contrast with minimal and clean structural lines. I also like there are no conspicuous light features on the ceiling, but only semi or fully recessed, trimless lamps and just a few simple pendant lamps above the island kitchen or dining table. To accent, it's better to have floor lamps and table lamps.
I love this island counter covered the whole surface with concrete, and dark sawn oak cabinets have gorgeous surface. Gray, dark wood, with a neutral white background is my current favorite combination for the kitchen.
Here is a bit more comfy option. Love the beautiful plaster finish with marble top and backsplash. Neutral-toned plaster and wood beams give feeling like in a cottage.
I just fell in love with this bedroom designed by Vincent Van Duysen. I never thought books fit the bedroom so well while maintaining a simple and clean atmosphere. I believe books even help to keep homey feeling. You might notice that floor lamp; I also love so much this sleek reading lamp by Lumina.
Here is another my favorite bedroom designed by Danielle Siggerud. When wardrobe sits in the bedroom, I prefer having doors. The vanity can be hidden or opened obtaining flushed surface to use pivoting pocket doors. And there are beautiful wall lamps inside from Apparatus Studio.
This flushed mirror is brilliant. Also, making some details inside of bespoke sink to install a faucet, lever handles and place hand soap, towel, and small things is a great idea. Look at the clean and simple front view below.
