As part of the France-Korea Year organised under the aegis of the France-Korea Committee, chaired by Henri Loyrette, and in partnership with the Korea Craft & Design Foundation, from 19 September 2015 to 3 January 2016 the musee des Arts decoratifs showed the Korea now! Craft, Design, Fashion and Graphic Design in Korea exhibition.

Lifestyle Si was commissioned to design the exhibition, in a collaboration with Prof. Jang Soon Gak.

Scenography was inspired by “Korean scenery”. Considered that the ‘crafts’ are the everyday life objects, we tried to design an exhibition environment to give the background spatial context of Korean living and architecture. The space was designed to re-interpret the Korean tradition and culture in a modern language, inspired by the Korean traditional architecture “Hanok” – its overlapping of space, borrowing scenery and gradation of lights through paper (Hanji) lining.
